Auras - Colors and Crystals

Everyone has a rainbow of colors in their aura.


The Colors of the Aura

White gives off light and is the closest color to the body. White is the color of God and the Holy Spirit.

Gold often bands white, but does not give off a shaft of light. Instead, it is iridescent.

Purple bands gold. Purple comes when you are concentrating very spiritually.

Emerald Green is next. It is a cold color.

Next comes "variable" colors, such as the various shades of yellows and pinks.

Red is only present in an aura when a person is mad.

Black is present when the person is sick.

Blue is wonderous, but icy.


The Color Black:

Associated with the First Chakra for grounding, focus, and survival.

Attributes: banishing, protection, absorption, destruction of negative energy, rest, mysterious, independant, strenth, fascination, allure. Shielded, in control, confident, and fearless.

Crystals and Gemstones: Apache Tears, Hematite, Black Sapphire, Black Agate, Black Tourmaline, Jet, Obsidian, Onyx, Sardonyx, Serpentine, Snowflake Obsidian. These stones are very grounding and deepen our connection to all things physical and also symbolize self control and resilience. They relieve us of our fears specifically associated with our physical existance. They act as a shield, protecting and eflecting negative energies.

Native Americans considered the color black to be good because it was the color of the soil, which gave life.

Black is Sunday's color.

Black is the adsense of all color. It absorbs all aspects of light. It conceals.

Black is linked to the unknown, the unseen, the hidden, and bad experiences.

Wear black to become inconspicuous, open the door to mystery, prepare for the unknown, and for resful emptiness.


The Color Brown:

Associated with the First Chakra.

Attributes: Earth, dependability, stability, humility, comforting, nurturing, fertile, relaxation, homecoming, cozy, safe, warm. Sophistication, considerate, conventional, orderly, reliability, elegance, security, healing, animals, home, grounding, and foundations.

Crystals and Gemstones: Amber, Boji Stones, Brown jade, Brown Jasper, Brown Selenite, Brown Tourmaline, Hawk's Eye, Magnetite, Moss Agate, Smoky Quartz, Topaz, and Tiger's Eye.

Negatively, brown represents a repressed personality or a lazy person. Thus, too much brown results in a dull effect.

Browns are a mixture of blues, reds, and yellows. The red in brown represents practical energy. The yellow and blue in brown represents mental focus energies.

Wear brown for a solid wholesome feeling, to blend with the background, to make a connection with the natural earth, for the stability brown brings, for orderliness and convention. Brown shows no direction or attitude in particular. Brown is also a disguise to hide your true nature.


The Color Gold:

Associated with the Sacral (Second) Chakra. When this chakra is blocked, it results in a stiff lower back, restlessness, confusion, and lack of sexual desire or pleasure.

Attributes: Illumination, love, compassion, self-esteem, courage, passion, Sun, solar magic, financial matters, properity, widom, Yang.

Crystals and Gemstones: Agate, Ametrine, Black Obsidian, Black Tourmaline, Bloodstone, Carnelian, Cuprite, Fire Agate, Garnet, Hematite, Onyx, Nephrite, Ruby, and Smokey Quartz.

Too much Gold: self-centered, seeking personal power.

Too little Gold: selfish, demanding, mean spirited.


The Color White:

Attributes: Air, aligned with the moon, faith, purity, innocence, truth, peace, humility, purity, sincerity, protection, spirituality, ritual, Goddess, new beginnings, and endless possibilities.

Crystals and Gemstones: Pearls, Apophyllite, Moonstone, Opal, Selenite, Snow Quartz, White Beryl, White Calcite, White Topaz, White Danburite, White Lepidolite.

The stones are connected to sleep, insomnia, dreams, visions, and the Goddess who rules the night and the dream world, fertility, pregnancy, lactation, and the mentrual cycle.

Too much white: cold, drained, lifeless, bare, and vacant.

Wear or place the following crystals around your body about 4-6 inches away to perform the listed functions.

Amber - An ancient protector. It aligns the aura with the physical body, mind, and spirit. It draws off negative energy and so cleans the aura. Targets the spleen chakra and calms nerves.
